The Athens Library has 37 computers available for student and faculty use.
Students wishing to utilize the computers in the computer or study room must have a current TVCC ID. Student's that did not bring their ID or are wanting "quick access" to a machine can use one of the computers on the main library floor.
We ask that all students save their work on a USB drive. Student's saving their work on the computers risk both losing their work or having other students view their personal information.
Yes, there are areas in the library that allow for users to work together. The Athens library has a new, state of the art collaboration room that allows up to 4 group members to plug their laptops in and have their work displayed on a large screen TV. Unfortunately, group work is not allowed in the library's main computer room due to testing. Study rooms and exterior computers are also available for completing group assignments.
Yes, the library has a centralized printer connected to each of the workstations. There is also a printer connected in a study room for group projects. Students needing to print from their laptops must utilize a USB drive or email the information to themselves.
The library is only able to offer black and white printing at this time.

Yes, the library has an available WiFi connection that either guests or individuals with a Cardinal ID and Password can utilize. Students having difficulty accessing the WiFi can seek help from IT Services.
The Library has a laptop table that is equipped with top accessible plugs for charging laptops and devices.
Before 4:30 p.m. students should utilize the TVCC Bookstore for fax services. After 4:30 students may fax from our facility for a nominal fee. See library staff for details.
Yes, the library has a copy machine available for student use. Copies are limited to black and white and are .05/page.
