How Do I Check Out Material From The Library?

All you need is a current student ID card.  No special library card needed!

How Many Items Can I Check Out?

Students are allowed to check out a total of five circulating items (does not apply to eBooks).

How Long Can I Keep My Items?

You can keep books for up to 4 weeks and audio books 3 weeks.  This time will vary as we approach the end of the semester.

What Kind Of Books Does The Library Have?

The library has a wide variety of books ranging from New York Times Best Sellers to some of the top reference titles.  The majority of our books are geared towards meeting the research needs of our students, but you will also find leisure material in our "pleasure reading" section.  Additionally, we offer digital books in both eBook and eAudio format.  You can access our catalog by clicking here.

What If I Need To Keep My Items Longer?

Students that need to keep their books for a longer period of time, simply need to bring the book back in and re-check the item.  Currently the library does not offer online/phone renewals.

What Happens If My Items Are Late?

The charge for overdue materials is .25 per item per day. 

What Happens If I Lose My Material

You will be charged the cost of replacing the item.

My Instructor Placed An Item On Reserve. What's That?

Reserve materials are added by an instructor. They are housed in the library and do not circulate outside of the library. These items require a current student ID card to view them.  Reserves are housed behind the circulation desk and require staff assistance for access.
