Does The Library Have Computers For Student Use?

The Terrell Library has 17 computers available for student and faculty use.

Do I Need A Student ID To Use A Library Computer?

Students wishing to utilize the computers must have a current TVCC ID.  Student's that did not bring their ID or are wanting "quick printing access"  to a machine can use one of the computers on first column as you walk into the LRC.

Can I Save My Work On The Library's Computers?

We ask that all students save their work on a USB drive.  Student's saving their work on the computers risk both losing their work or having other students view their personal information.  

Can My Friends And I Work Together On A Computer?

Students needing to work in groups on a computer are encouraged to use an available lab. Labs available are A103, A104, E101, and E103. Check for posted hours on the doors of these labs.

Can I Connect My Device and/or Laptop To WiFi?

Yes, the library has an available WiFi connection that either guests or individuals with a Cardinal ID and Password can utilize.  Students having difficulty accessing the WiFi can seek help from IT Services.

Can I Charge My Laptop and/or Device?

The Library has accessible plugs for charging laptops and devices usually found around the columns in the library

Can I Print In The Library?

Yes, the library has a centralized printer connected to each of the workstations. Students needing to print from their laptops must utilize a USB drive or email the information to themselves. Printouts will be available from circulation counter. See staff at counter for assistance.

Do You Have A Color Printer?

The library is only able to offer black and white printing at this time.

How Much Does It Cost To Print?

Printing is .10/page.  

Can I Fax From The Library?

Yes, students may send faxes from the library at a cost of $1 per page. Please see staff for the use of this service.

Can I Scan In The Library

Yes, scanning is free. You will need a USB drive to scan. Please ask library staff for assistance.

Does The Library Have Copy Machines For Student Use?

Yes, the library has a copy machine available for student use.  Copies are limited to black and white and are .10/page.
