The Kemp's Ridley sea turtle is an endangered population, but there were some new beginning for a group of hatchlings released into open water at the Padre Island National Seashore.
The Summer Zoology course is an exciting experience for those willing to participate. The course is only offered on the TVCC-Terrell campus during the first summer semester and is subject to instructor approval. This course is not a sit inside a building course. Plans for the summer of 2020 include a 5-day field trip to the Texas coast. For those who love biology and the outdoors this is an excellent opportunity.
Below are videos from the Summer 2017 and Summer 2016 Zoology classes.
